Sunshine World invites you to Poland for an unforgettable military weekend Eastern Zakopane, Poland style.
Sunshine World has teamed up with former members of Poland’s elite Special Forces Unit (GROM), the equivalent of the British SAS, to bring you the ultimate military experience. From Kalashnikov Shooting and Tank Driving to Abseiling and Rappelling, Sunshine World will create a personalised military weekend to satisfy the soldier in you.
You will be looked after by some of the world’s best trained personnel from Poland’s Military and Anti-Terrorist Special Units. All our event organisers are fully qualified and fully insured.
Pick from either a Military Day combined with a chance to experience Warsaw’s sizzling night-life or a no-nonsense Military Weekend with nothing but action-packed activities throughout.
Marksmanship:
Under the watchful eye of experienced instructors, you will have the opportunity to fire from a wide range of firearms including Handguns (Glock 17, Glock 19, Jericho ‘Baby Eagle’, Browning BHP High Power, 38 calibre revolver), Machine Guns (9mm Glauberit), Shotguns, Sniper Rifles and Assault Rifles (Kalashnikov).
Armoured Vehicle Rides:
Military vehicles you will be able to explore and experience include the famous Russian T-72 Tank, a stalwart of the Eastern Block during the Cold War, along with the BWP Armoured Personnel Carrier and the BRDM four-wheel-drive amphibious scout car, the standard light wheeled reconnaissance vehicle of the Warsaw Pact armies.
Water Activities:
Former members of the GROM Marine Division will take you on board a Special Forces Motorboat for a breathtaking demonstration of its capabilities. Additionally, hovercrafts, jet-skiing and raft-exercises are all options.
Scenario Exercises:
Our instructors will conduct building evacuation exercises that will include both abseiling and rappelling elements.
Mine-Field exercises are conducted with pyrotechnics to give a real fright when a mistake is made.
